 और रात के अंधियारे के साथ घर के एक  कोने में छूट जाते हैं, हमारे सपने। रात ही है जो हम जैसों को रो लेने की सहूलियत देती है और ख़ामोशी बहुत ही बेबाकी से बांध लेती है मन की चीखों को।  दुनिया जब सपनों में ग़ुम होती है तो छूट जाते हैं हम जैसे कुछ, नींद के दरवाजे पर... हक़ीक़त के खंरोचे हुए। जिन्हे ख़्वाब मयस्सर नहीं होते, हक़ीक़त सोने नहीं देती। हम अपने घरों के नालायक, घरों के कोनों में टूटे-बिखरे-भूले सपनों को जोड़ते, समेटते दिन निकलते जाते हैं... खाली कमरों में हजारों 'काश' के सिवा कुछ नहीं रह जाता, रह जाती है तो हमारे  सपनों की चादर और उस पर ढके ख्याब जो हमेशा सवाल करते रहेंगे.... ऐसे सवाल जिनका हल हर किसी पर नहीं होगा और जिसपर होगा वो एकांत में यहीं सोच रहा होगा आखिर ये नींद के दरवाजे बंद क्यों नही होते..??

Jyani comes from a farming family in a small village in Ganganagar, 20 kilometers from the India-Pakistan border, deep into the Thar desert in Rajasthan. Now an associate professor, he has always been aware of the challenges a desert ecology presents. Rajasthan is the largest and most arid state in India. Jyani has been working towards restoring and preserving the desert ecosystem and combating desertification through a holistic effort of plantation and sustainable living He has been leading these efforts in Rajasthan since the year 2003 and has planted more than 2.5 million trees to date, most of it funded himself, while plantation help comes from thousands of villagers who have joined his grassroots campaigns to green Rajasthan. The survival rate of these plants is more than 95 percent, says Jyani.
